     All past issues of The Landings Eagle are archived here. 

The format in which they are stored is a  "pdf" file.  To read them you will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader.  It may already be installed in your Internet Browser, or you may have to download it.  It can be obtained, free of charge, from the following link. You can zoom in and out and move around the page.

The original papers produce very large files.  These have been compressed, therefore some of the resolution, especially of graphics, may not be as high as desirable.  Unfortunately, not compressing them would make it impossible to place them on the site. 

The files are still large.  It may take a few minutes to download them if you have a slow connection.  We recommend you take the time to actually download the file you are interested in and save it to a folder on your hard drive.  That way you can read it at your leisure in the Adobe Acrobat Reader without having to re-download.

One distinct advantage of this format is pictures and advertisements originally created in color will display in full color. You can print individual pages if you like.

Each edition is stored here pretty much as published.  Occasional "horrific and embarrassing " corrections have been made!

Those  who subscribe to receive the paper at their "snowbird get-away, may wish to consider this as a free alternative to the subscription process.  The subscription mailing has been occasionally problematic.
