This is the analysis made May 15, 2007  by Fire Mitigation Specialist Joe Padgett, Sarasota County Emergency Services.

While there was no scale attached to his report the higher the number the greater the risk.

His specific recommendations to further mitigate fire danger is at the bottom of the chart.

5/15/2007 Met with Howard Feltman and Irwin Starr - surveyed Howard's home
  Made verbal recommendations to go along with this survey - see below
Recommendations for preserve area:
1) Reduce fuel within 30 feet of any home edge.
2) Remove tree limbs within 10 feet of the ground to separate ground fuels from tree top fuels.
3) Removal and control of exotics is a planned activity.
