Editors Note: This is the E-mail sent by Larry Fleming informing people of the commencement of adding the viewing area, path and initial spraying of undesirable growth.

At this point The Eagle is told the LMA acted to approve this work based on prior votes and appropriation of funds, and with the belief none of this work in any way violated paragraph 29.

It is from this point to the present the current part of the controversy arose.

Subject: Work On ENA Path, etc

Russ Hoffman is tentatively planning to start work on the ENA path,

observation area, and strangler vine/poison ivy eradication on

Thursday, August 28.  The work will be done in two steps, with

mulching of the path as the second step.  Later on, there will be

follow-up herbicide spraying of vines/ivy.  The August 28 date is

dependent on weather, as it effects our project and others that Russ

is working on.

Do not expect immediate results.  Herbicide spraying will take time to

work.  Note also that we will initially be using somewhat less than

the optimum amount of mulch, which is very expensive.  Mulch used will

be environmentally appropriate ... not Cypress Mulch.

Removal of exotics and replanting with Native Florida Vegetation will

not be part of what Mr. Hoffman's crew will be doing in August.

Note To Bob Greenfield and Bob Capo:  Please pass on this email to

others whom you think should see it.
